America Getting 9-11'd In Monthly Installments By Illegal Alien Gang Members

As a nation, we remember the horrible day nine years ago when thousands of innocent Americans, minding their own business, were murdered in a single morning by foreigners who commandeered airplanes.

But we're getting 9-11'd over and over again, in bits and pieces, by foreign gang members who enter the country illegally. They're murdering us in monthly installments.

Remember Chandra Levy? She was the Washington, D.C. intern working in Congressman Gary Condit's office. Her murderer, having confessed to the crime, is now on trial. The Washington Post reported today that he is "an illegal immigrant from El Salvador," one of whose three tattoos is "a symbol for the Mara Salvatrucha gang, or MS-13." Another of his tattoos resembles his famous victim, Chandra Levy. The third tattoo, on his scalp, depicts the devil.

Authorities arrested Levy's confessed murderer, not on the street, or in his home or a business, but "in a federal prison in Victorville," California, where he was already "serving a 10-year sentence . . . for assaulting two other women at knifepoint in Rock Creek Park."  He's trying to keep his confession out of evidence by saying his rights had been violated; he had confessed after the police lied to him about having DNA evidence.

Levy's murder was not an isolated event.  Gang members in our country illegally murder our fellow citizens regularly, without provocation.  Consider a few examples:

Jamiel Shaw, II was murdered outside his home by an illegal alien gang member who had just been released from jail, and who could have and should have been deported. Jamiel's mother was serving our country in Iraq at the time.

Danielle Bologna's husband and two sons were murdered by an illegal alien gang member in the MS-13 gang. The father and sons were driving home from a family picnic. The murderer says their car had blocked his briefly.

Three college students were murdered, and a fourth critically injured, by six illegal alien gang members who had first tried to rape the women students.

The list could go on and on. These are just some examples that received publicity.

We should absolutely remember 9-11. But more than that, we, as a nation, should take action to protect our citizens from preventable attacks by people who have no business being in the country in the first place.

We should, at a minimum, prohibit any state, county or city from granting "sanctuary city" protection to known gang members. Congress should pass, and the President should sign, a national version of Jamiel's Law.

We can agree to disagree about national policy on other illegal aliens. But when it comes to known gang members who are in the country illegally, and whom we could deport before they kill our children, our wives, our husbands and our neighbors, there should be no disagreement.

Connect the dots, pass Jamiel's Law, and stop letting gang members 9-11 us over and over.

  1. I couldn't agree more. We have enough criminals of our own, we don't need to import them, too.

But let's imagine that a National Jamiel's Law were in place now, and every illegal alien criminal -- gang banger or not -- were deported.

Without as illegal-alien-proof border as possible put into place, we might as well disband the border Patrol, take down the fences and let them pour in, because that's what's happening now.

We detain them, sometime prosecute and jail them, and even deport them. And as quickly as we kick them out, they come back.

  2. Whose neck do we wring? After listening to the pundits talk this whole 9/11 thing to death, it seems to me there is a right to be mad and frustrated, but nothing changes. We need a change back to law and order, clean sweep, it won't be easy. Top to bottom.

  3. Jamiel's Law would, undoubtedly, benefit the nation on the federal level, but that it has not even been enacted (or given serious consideration by elected officials) in the city where its namesake was brutally gunned down, is an appalling disgrace.

  4. I'm headed to the voting polls in November and on March 8, 2010. I've been informing 100's upon 100's of folks who are concerned for the safety of their neighborhoods as their children walk home from school in a possible gang related gun fire.

Our thanks to the Clean Sweep L.A. organization for their commitment to improving our community.
