Brown Should Sue Villaraigosa, Too

California Attorney General Jerry Brown is suing officials from the City of Bell on the theory that their pay was grossly excessive. The work they performed was not worth the compensation they received.

Okay.

Shouldn't he therefore likewise sue Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa?

Think about it:  Under the City Charter, serving as Mayor is a full-time job.  According to a review of Villaraigosa's calendar by Patrick Range McDonald in the LA Weekly, however, he spent only 11% of his time doing the job for which he is so lavishly paid.
How about it, Jerry?  Seems to me the people of Los Angeles are entitled to an 89% salary refund, applied to a $200,000+ per year salary, for five years.

  1. EXCELLENT idea! I think that here in MECHA country that this suit would not go very far. Brown would lose too much support from the ruling class, developers (for attacking their boy) and the Latino community & media often broadcasting praises for the Leading Baboso.

With the farce of an Ethics Commission in LA making excuses and not punishing Villarbaboso for TicketGate, the LA MECHA-loving community can breathe easy that the giveaways will continue from Tony & the LA Shitty Hall clowncil!

Would it be feasible to charged Antonio & the clowncil aiding & abetting criminal and mismanagement of taxpayer funds (bordering on embezzlement) & gifts of public funds? Would Carmen T want to discuss this on a future aired TV discussion with you? Not likely.

  2. Yeah, Jerry...how about it? L.A. needs -- I mean really needs! -- that kind of catharsis.

  3. Brown suing Villaraigosa?! HA! Good one, Walter! Thanks!

The planets would have to align in a frozen Satanic realm for that to happen.

If that lawyer thing doesn't work out you show promise in comedy.

  4. If Brown mentioned a lawsuit against fellow Democrat Villaraigosa the riots would pale in comparison to Westlake.
