Europeans Increasingly Fed Up With Immigration
Voters in Sweden, France and the Netherlands are increasingly fed up not just with illegal immigration, but all immigration. You can read about it in the New York Times. Actually, according to a Reuters article, voters throughout Europe have had enough: Austria, Britain, Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Norway and Switzerland all seem to be saying the thrill is gone.

Why is it not o.k . to climb the border walls of some countries like the southern border of Mexico, but alright to sneak in others. The U.S. huffs and puffs, but still they come. We, of course should feel sorry for these misplaced persons who are really just looking for a better life. But if you find them marching in the streets waving the flag of their country, they really loved her all along and were kidding. So being big hearted, we just overlook those silly persons who get mad.
ReplyDeleteWhat is happening in the U.S. is happening in almost every other country on the planet where you might want to consider living. Economically successful nations are recipients of lots of immigrants from poorer and undeveloped countries. That people from places w/ little opportunity want to come to nations that possess opportunity, is not surprising. That emigration into first world countries has been made easier by the tendency of citizens in such nations to reproduce in insufficient numbers, is.
ReplyDeleteHey Walter, did you know that in Europe there's no such thing as "sanctuary cities" for illegal aliens? If you're in any European country and you pick up the phone and call the cops - be it the "old Bill" or "Les Ficks," and you say "Hey, there's a bunch of illegal aliens living/working/committing crimes at 123 Any Steet" the cops will actually respond? Amazing isn't it? You don't get "Oh that's a federal issue" you get a response.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of illegal aliens, did you know that San Francisco's DA, Kamala Harris, the liberal democrat aka 'the female Obama,' cannot explain what she did with $3.7M in federal grant money to prosecute illegal aliens? It was first reported here, and now it's here.
By the way, Harris wants to be California's next Attorney General.
Harry Reid is going to try to pass a ''''sneaking amnesty" bill tomorrow in a last ditch effort to get elected. Those who care had better call their senators. The lines will be loaded.
