| Don't you wish hats were still "in?" Way cool look. |
The question comes to mind because apparently the FBI has been questioning City Councilman Huizar's staff and a contractor about some work done several years ago to a rental property Huizar owns. The contractor billed Huizar, but Huizar didn't pay -- until his most recent election campaign began. You can read all about it in the Los Angeles Times.
The contractor, by the way, is the man running against Huizar, and is the man whom you should support 100% to replace Huizar, namely, Rudy Martinez. I gather from the article that Martinez did not have a contractor's license when he did the work. However, that didn't seem to stop Huizar from authorizing him to do the work in the first place, did it? Plus, does Huizar really want to fault Martinez for being an "undocumented contractor?"
Don't you love how the WIFE of Huizar sends the check? Stuff like this from public officials is illegal in any other place, except good ol' L.A.: the most corrupt City in American History! The 15 Council district seats should be put up for bids at an auction! Why even have elections? These people don't bother to represent anyone, just fill their pockets first, then the family, and friends. Let's just get real here.
ReplyDeleteDear Readers: Just FYI, Huizar's spin team has been trying to post bogus "anonymous" comments, but yours truly has a BS filter that spares you the unsupported spin.
ReplyDeleteAnd hey, Huizar's spinners: If you can back any of that crap up with some supporting evidence, do so. Otherwise, it's the trashcan for you.
