RADIO ALERT: KABC WEDNESDAY EVENING - 8:00 PM HOUR
RADIO ALERT: Wednesday evening, during the 8:00 p.m. hour, John Phillips and I are chatting about the top stories. Why? I'm guessing Hurricane Irene wiped out the first seven tiers of guests. Join us. It'll be fun.
On KABC from 5-9am, when I hear Teresa Strasser (Cheney Hater #1 on KABC) and Peter Tilden (has absolutely no talent to listen to) the radio goes OFF TO THE CD PLAYER. There's another jerk on KABC, some newsreader Williams who bashed Cheney (Cheney hater #2) claiming Cheney APPROVED OF TORTURE? WTF?? If I hear Phillips, I actually listen. Maybe KABC is beginning to get that info on LOTS AND LOSTS OF AM MORNING LISTENERS? We get to hear a guy like Walter who actually KNOWS ABOUT L.A. POLITICS AND ECONOMICS AND CAN GIVE AN INTELLIGENT WORD OR TWO ABOUT IT! This kind of thing on AM radio is getting as rare as a paycheck these days in L.A! I would request one thing please: Mention the DA run (and broken promises and arrogance) of the biggest fool in L.A. Politics these days: CARMEN 'GAGA' DUMBTANICH! He RAN on the PROMISE to run ONLY FOR 2 TERMS AS CITY ATTORNEY AND NO OTHER JOB PERIOD!!!!! Then tell the KABC audience how L.A. City (and 'gaga') are DRAFTING AN ORDINACE TO FORCE L.A. HOMEOWNERS TO PAY TO FIX THE DAMN SIDEWALKS AND TRIM THE CITY TREES BECAUSE IT'S IN FRONT OF SAID HOME!!!! I could list 100 other Grievances, but Phillips doesn't have 10 hours of live radio.

John will be in New York interviewing victim's families tomorrow. It should be worth listening to. I understand he's a political junkie.
