Here's an article in the Los Angeles Times with the sub-headline that says it all: "John Schwada is not just another pretty face on TV news, which may be why Fox 11 let the dogged journalist go."
Take it from someone with a license to sue: make a deal with Schwada to stay.
I have every hope that Schwada will land somewhere where his talents will be appreciated. FOX is a bad fit for John - they are too light on serious topics, wanting just a pretty face and a soundbite. That's not John on both fronts! Watch FOX for eye candy, but watch [Fill in the blank] for serious news that matters.

Schwada old? Look at Dorthy Lucey and chris Divine, and Jilian (they're pretty LONG IN THE TOOTH.) Who the hell are they kidding at KTTV?
