So the City Council dithers around for 11 months and finally appoints a DWP rate-payer advocate -- you know, because how could elected officials possibly serve as advocates for us rate-payers -- just ONE DAY before that same City Council is set to vote on a water rate increase.
Gosh darn, too bad the new guy didn't have time to provide any input on this. But after all, everyone knows it always takes 11 months to fill a job opening. What do you think the odds are that the City Council will postpone the matter to let the new guy come up to speed?
Remember this bad-faith stall tactic when these same sneaky career politicians -- Garcetti, Perry, Greuel, and the former head of the DWP himself, Beutner -- give you some song and dance about how they'll do a better job if only you'll make them Mayor.

Well, well, a big mega church in south Los Angeles refused to allow Garcetti and Greuel to perform their mayoral campaign, song and dance for the congregation.

Boy, bet they were boiling-mad!
