I plan to vote for Alan Jackson for District Attorney.
People who know about such matters all tell me he's the right guy for the job, so he's got my vote. Plus, he put Phil Spector away.
The good news is, we have an election with a choice between several excellent candidates. How nice not to have to vote for the lesser of two evils for a change!
But the one person for whom you must not vote, under any circumstances is Carmen Trutanich. If you're unclear about that, visit Los Angeles Dragnet.

Nope, not Trutanich. I did campaign for him. He is not the respecting the will of the voters who voted for him and expected him to fullfill his term to completion.
ReplyDeleteI've been sending campaign funds to Alan Jackson and campaigning for him.
I voted for Alan too. I am happy to have to choose between him and Jackie Lacey. (Happy that you-know-who will not be on the ballot!)
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteI like Mitt Romney. He will lower my taxes and cut spending. Then, Tom Harkin, I am going to take a vacation to Arizona. I like the weather. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI voted "none of the above" There were some changes in my district, so I registered. Later on, I did not receive the mail in ballot (as usual) so I almost voted provisionally. Well, its confusing when one's home is in one city and the other is in a Section 8apt in Boycott land. So I made a note of it. I can say is that I never found the "perfect candidate." I tried Republicans,The Democratic Party, The John Birch Society, Tea Party, Green Party, Ron Paul, RP Botts...etc..etc... Hey sometimes the world is not fare. But there are some TRUE LIBERALS out there. The main thing is low taxes and cut spending: Simple. Employment rates usually go down right after that. I will be brushing up on my JFK, Warren G, Ronald Reagan, Andrew Jackson and Mahatma Ghandi. OR hell I will just run around the neighborhood and comment on products. NEVERTHELESS. I sent Herman $35 on his anniversary and charged it to "the underhills" who were scared to vote. So this time I am going to choose my candidate early. I liked Cain. Hell, I use to say, no cain, no gain in the gym. Then I picked Paul, then Huntsman and Karger the night before the precincts opened. In conclusion Right here Right now, I am going to support Romney. And I tell ya what harkin, dont tell me who should be the vice, my vice president. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the recommendation... reading "LA Dragnet", gotta say one real turn off was the La Times endorsement... I remember the last mayoral election, they promoted Villar(rigosa)giving no attention to other candidates and later responded to complaints saying in their opinion, there was no other viable candidate. Since then I have serious doubts of any candidate they prefer and I am so old fashioned that I believe a "news" paper should offer the facts, not indulge in manipulation of the public and political bias. I'm not surprised a "news" paper prefers candidates that "look good", but we need more than photo ops to run the city.
