Did You Notice That President Obama Essentially Endorsed Jamiel's Law?

Remember Jamiel's Law? That was my proposal that the City of Los Angeles make one tiny little exception to its "sanctuary city" policy for illegal aliens, by refusing to give "sanctuary" to gang members. When I made that modest proposal, I was called "racist." But during last night's debate, President Obama endorsed the exact same approach:  deporting "gang bangers."

This is a sign of how messed up the insiders at City Hall in Los Angeles are. Jamiel's Law is something everyone can and should agree on: we don't need to import violent criminals. Mayoral candidates Garcettie, Greuel and Perry, and City Controller candidate Zine could have and should have embraced my modest proposal years ago, just as Obama has done. Instead, they opted to make the City of the Angels a haven for criminal gangs, and a hell for the victims on whom they prey.

It gets worse, people. Now, not only is the City Council still giving sanctuary to illegal alien gang members, but is going the extra step to pass Mayor Villaraigosa's proposal that the City also issue them ID cards.  You can read about it in the New York Times.  What happened to rule of law? What happened to common sense? The City of Los Angeles is aiding and abetting criminals who don't come here to work, but instead to steal, kill and sell illegal drugs. We must get rid of all incumbents at City Hall.
